Enrique Perez & his partner Rob Carroll ran a weekender from 7-8 July 2018: All Stars Salsa Fiesta, 1 Beach Parties & 2 All Day workshops but I could only make it to the Sunday Party Night at The Lost Paradise Bar from 8:30 to 2am. I wasn’t interested in the lessons so arrived at 10pm to see the last half of the excellent rueda lesson being run by Danielle Satsias before the social dancing began.
Although the focus of Enrique‘s events is Cuban salsa there are plenty of ladies attending who can dance cross body though most of the men do lead Cuban style and many of the ladies prefer to dance their salsa in the Cuban way! No problem for me as I dance Puerto Rican Salsa Romantica (the best of cross body & Cubana danced in a smooth sensual way) which means I can dance with anybody – even Enrique himself! 😉
