Rueda de Casino is a fun format for learning Cuban salsa moves. All Cuban moves have a name so that when the teacher calls out the name of the next move for all couples in the circle to follow, everybody knows what to do – in theory at least. For example Dame Uno means: “Move on anti-clockwise to the next lady!” and Dame Dos means: “Move on to the 2nd lady!”. The lesson begins with a demonstration and practice of each move to be used in the lesson for those who are new to rueda and as a reminder to the others. A list of moves for beginner may be found at wikibooks.org/wiki/Rueda_de_Casino/Moves_for_Beginners and comprehensive list of moves may be found at salsaclass.co.uk/rueda_calls.htm

Philip Wake I’d have gone just for my two dances with Kasia but I had a good time dancing with many other girls too. Some were just beginners but I managed to lead them to an enjoyable dance and make them smile! with the pleasure of dancing! 🙂 ❤️ 🙂
