Kasia Rajca, an amazing salsa dancer & teacher, provides a salsa social at the Outside-In Food Court in Portsmouth every Tuesday which include salsa and bachata dancing lessons. The original venue for the event was the Art Coffee House but Kasia‘s salsa family became so large after 14 weeks she had to move to a larger venue. As the new venue is only 5 minutes walk away from the original her salsa family has no problem getting there!
Venue: Outside-In Food Court at 56 Middle Street, Portsmouth, PO5 4BP
Parking: There’s plenty of free parking for 3 hours in the nearby roads.
Times:
- 7:30pm Bachata lessons
- 8:15pm Salsa lessons
- 9pm Social dancing
- 11pm Close
Entrance: £3 for social dancing only – £5 including the lessons.

Philip Wake When I arrived Kasia was teaching salsa a trois which looked like good fun! When there are not enough men that’s a good plan and its good for us men for the social dancing too because we don’t have to rush to find our next partner at the end of each dance. Also the ladies have to do more asking than usual and it is nice to be asked! I had a lot of good dances with Nadia, Aude, Renata, Ewa, Tina, Madalina, Dana, Janina and a few other charming ladies. I danced one salsa with one young lady who said she had no idea how to dance. I said: “Just relax, don’t look down and feel the music with me.” She did and followed my leads to the basic, clockwise turn and cross body just like that! I saved the best ‘til last – a salsa with Kasia – can’t think of a better way to end a night of heavenly dancing! ❤️
