B-Town Latino hosted a brand new bachata and salsa festival in Brighton from Friday 21 to Sunday 23 February 2020 at the Holiday Inn Brighton – Seafront. I usually go salsa dancing in London at the weekend but when there’s something new like this, where many of the ladies I enjoy dancing with seem to be going, I like to go there too but only on the Saturday Party Night which is usually the best night with shows at most weekenders. This one was no exception so to the Saturday Party Night I went! Having said that the Saturday was so good I went to the Sunday Party Night as well!
Entrance: £15 for Sunday Party Night.
Venue: Holiday Inn Brighton – Seafront at 137 Kings Road, Brighton BN1 2JF
Parking: Plenty of free parking at 8pm in nearby roads.

- 21:00 Social dancing in the bachata and salsa rooms

Format: Two carpeted rooms fitted with temporary wooden flooring, one room for bachata and one for salsa.

Philip Wake I’m so glad I decided to come back to BTownLatino for some more because I had so much fun. Only the bachata room was active when I arrived around 9:20pm but I had a lot of sensual bachata dances with many beautiful ladies before I managed to get my first salsa around 10pm. I then had lot of beautiful salsa dances with many sensual ladies until the room closed at 11:15 so that the dance floor could be dismantled. The other room then converted to an equal mixture of bachata and salsa – in theory at least – but in practice it wasn’t very equal! Lol! After all it is B-Town Latino not S-Town! Nevertheless I had a good time dancing until 1am and watching the birthday girl Diana being outrageously flirted with by the cheeky presenter and his 5 even cheekier male assistants. I have to say she performed just as well as the men! So – that was two fabulous party nights after having an amazing time at El Grande on Friday which makes that a weekend to remember for a long time. ❤️ Well at least until I go to Salsa Mish next Friday with my lovely daughter Katrinah, Suavecito on Saturday with the lovely ladies of Brighton and The Live Band on Sunday with the lovely ladies of Richmond! 😜
