Kasia Rajca, an amazing salsa dancer & teacher, provides a salsa social at the Outside-In Food Court in Portsmouth every Tuesday which include salsa and bachata dancing lessons. See the Salsa Solent Portsmouth facebook page or Salsa Solent Portsmouth facebook group for more information about this and other events presented by Kasia. The original venue for the event was the Art Coffee House but Kasia‘s salsa family became so large after 14 weeks she had to move to a larger venue. As the new venue is only 5 minutes walk away from the original her salsa family has no problem getting there!
Venue: Outside-In Food Court at 56 Middle Street, Portsmouth, PO5 4BP
Parking: There’s plenty of free parking for 3 hours in the nearby roads.
Times:
- 7:30pm Bachata lessons
- 8:15pm Salsa lessons
- 9pm Social dancing
- 11pm Close
Entrance: £4 for social dancing only – £6 including the lessons.

Philip Wake Today was hard work but fun. I was wearing a new pair of shoes with rubber bottoms that need to be smoothed by dancing so that I can spin, slip & slide more easily and avoid excessive pressure on my knees which by the end of the night were hurting a bit. Still, I kept going until the end because I found lots of good dancers who were fun to lead including: Luka (from Sweden), Goreti, Beata, Mar Y Ola, Adelphia, Melina, Renata, Tina, Mindii, Iyanna and finished off with a short stylish one with Hazel to make my night complete! ❤️
