Snack 3: Poached Eggs on Gluten Free Toast

Just enough for me but probably enough for 2 ladies!

(Compare with Sugar: 95%, butter: 180%)

COST: 35p (So don’t tell me that eating healthy food is expensive!)

TIME: 4 minutes

INGREDIENTS
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Measure 120ml of water into a plastic container which has a clip-on lid.
  2. Add half teaspoon salt and stir.
  3. Break 2 eggs into the water and prick each yolk to avoid an explosion.
  4. Apply the clip-on lid.
  5. Microwave at 800W for 3 minutes.
  6. Place 2 slices of bread in the toaster and start.
  7. Serve as pictured.

The calorie density of this snack is a bit high at 46% but it’s so delicious I do have it from time to time. Sometimes I use soya milk instead of water because it tastes even better!
