INGREDIENTS
- Eggs 2 medium 100g: 130kcal (100ml) Asda SP 15 Eggs £1.18 = 16p
- Bread 2 slices 66g: 176kcal (66ml) Asda Free From White Sliced Loaf 535g £1.50 = 19p
INSTRUCTIONS
- Measure 120ml of water into a plastic container which has a clip-on lid.
- Add half teaspoon salt and stir.
- Break 2 eggs into the water and prick each yolk to avoid an explosion.
- Apply the clip-on lid.
- Microwave at 800W for 3 minutes.
- Place 2 slices of bread in the toaster and start.
- Serve as pictured.
The calorie density of this snack is a bit high at 46% but it’s so delicious I do have it from time to time. Sometimes I use soya milk instead of water because it tastes even better!
