On Saturday I began thinking about doing the Sunday party night at the Mambo City 5* Congress! The £25 ticket includes the Sunday afternoon social as well as the party night but does not include performances. Every first Friday of the month there is an excellent salsa event at The Venue in Brighton run by Carlton Thomas. The social dancing is from 11pm to 2am which is my interest but the Cubana salsa classes which are very professional start at 9pm. Event 2018-05-03: Salsa Bailando at Drift in Southsea on Thursdays!

The Drift Bar in Southsea is the venue for Bailando every Thursday run by DALE Afro Latin Entertainment from 10pm to 3am. It has been good for the first few months of the year because there have been plenty of people attending Skye's earlier bachata lessons upstairs from 8 to 10pm and most stay for an hour or so to practice to bachata music. Event 2018-05-02: Salsa at Bar So Bournemouth on Wednesdays!

Enrique Perez & his partner  Rob Carroll run an excellent evening of salsa at Bar So in Bournemouth every Wednesday. There are  bachata workshops from 7:30pm to 8:30pm followed by Cuban salsa workshops from 8:45pm until 10:15pm.  All levels are catered for with  the one and only Moe Flex usually providing the advanced level for bachata & salsa.  The workshops are followed by social dancing until 1am with an excellent selection of good salsa music by DJ Enrique which will motivate Read more [...]

Tonight was Tropical Sunday at the Drift Bar run by DALE Afro Latin Entertainment from 7pm to 12:30am. There are usually 2 sessions of bachata or salsa lessons at 7:30 and 8:30pm and tonight was supposed to be a Cubana Special run by the amazing Kasia Rajca but she couldn't make it tonight so somebody else took over! Event 2018-04-28: Salsa Fiesta at Las iGuanas Bournemouth on the Last Saturday of the Month!

Enrique Perez & his partner  Rob Carroll run an excellent free evening of salsa at Las iGuanas Bournemouth on the last Saturday of the month from 10:30pm until 2am but tonight it was 10pm to 1am because a late licence had not been obtained. Although the focus of the event is Cuban salsa there are plenty of ladies attending who can dance cross body though most of the men do lead Cuban style and many of the ladies prefer to dance their salsa in the Cuban way! Event 2018-04-27: Salsa at Putney on Fridays!

I always enjoy the experience of attending Incognito's Putney Salsa Club which is run by the elegant Jeff Tarpinian and has a very friendly atmosphere. The venue has a superb professional dance floor for 200 dancers with an amazing sound system and air conditioning that works. The dance floor is normally used by Dance Lab for professional ballroom events. MOBILE PHONE HOLDER – FIXED OUTSIDE THE BOX!

I bought this Universal Mobile Phone Holder from the Fareham Market a couple of months ago for what I thought was a good price - £5 - but clearly not as good as available on eBay! Lol. It seemed very clever because of the numerous ways that it could be used and the way it folded down to look like a mouse.
