PLAN TO AVOID PAYING AN EXTRA £25 TO GO TO EL BEMBE AFTER 8th APRIL 2019

The Ultra Low Emission Zone comes into effect on 8th April 2019 at which time if I were to drive all the way to The Bottlescrue as usual I would have to pay £12.50 for 9:30pm until midnight and another £12.50 for midnight until 2:30am.As I have a free bus pass the natural alternative is to take the bus from near Scala which is just outside the zone. Every first Friday of the month there is an excellent salsa event at The Venue in Brighton hosted by Jimmy Lobe. The social dancing is from 11pm to 2am which is my interest but the Cubana salsa classes which are very professional start at 9pm. ARTHRITIS CULPRIT IS LECTIN NOT GLUTEN

I recently went back to having my two poached eggs on toast daily at 4pm but this time with gluten free bread to avoid the arthritis in my knees effect. However, after a couple of weeks I noticed my knees were hurting again. I ran out of gluten free bread a few days ago and noticed today that my knees were hurting a lot less. Salsateca London and Ola Latina host an excellent salsa & bachata party night on the Last Friday of every month in the Great Hall in Bromley Civic Centre. I used to go to Putney Salsa Club every 4th Friday but Latin Paradise is so good I now alternate between the two!

The Drift Bar in Southsea is the venue for Bailando every Thursday run by DALE Afro Latin Entertainment from 10pm to 3am. When I arrive around 10:30pm for the salsa dancing upstairs there are usually plenty of people who attended the earlier bachata lessons from 8 to 10pm staying on for an hour or so to practice to bachata music. Around 11pm the salsa music begins and people start arriving from downstairs particularly when it get crowded.

Enrique Perez & his partner  Rob Carroll run an excellent evening of salsa at Bar So in Bournemouth every Wednesday. Philip Frost and Miguel Mayana run a monthly salsa event at The Bedford in Balham which is one of my favourite venues. MULTI-VITAMINS ARE CHEAPER THAN GREEN VEG!

For lunch today I had chicken thighs with chickpeas in a tasty Nandos-Jamaican sauce which I thickened more than usual with potato powder for a more solid satisfying meal. I forgot to take a picture before I started eating so you see it here partly eaten!
