CHIPS & BAKED BEANS FOR LUNCH TODAY!

The Natural Low Density Eating version of chips with baked beans is only 16% compared with 43% for the usual fried chips with baked bean in tomato sauce version which means it's nearly 3 times as satisfying calorie for calorie. In other words you would only be able to consume 37% of the high density version to keep to the same number of calories as the low density version! RICE, OSMOSIS & ARSENIC!

As you can see there's a smooth metal plate over the heating element of my new kettle which means that you can boil a single cup of water to make one cup of coffee using only 25 watts costing approximately .3 of a penny - very green don't you think! . HUNG PARLIAMENT

Carlos Paz runs a monthly salsa fiesta at The Stoke Pub in Guildford on a Saturday. I haven't been for ages but decided to give it another go tonight as there was nothing else on in London that wasn't twice as far away from where I live in Gosport! TV Viewing Angle

If you've got a 40 inch TV and are thinking of upgrading to a 50 inch for a better wide-screen cinema effect why not just sit closer. For example, the recommended distance for viewing a 50 inch screen is 1.8m which is a viewing angle of 34 degrees but if you sit just 35cm closer to your 40 inch screen (1.45m) you will get the same result without having to spend any money! Event 2017-03-18: Salsa Party at the Bedford in Balham – Luscious Ladies & Leprechauns!

Liz invited me to her yearly party at The Bedford in Balham at Que Rico last Friday. I had not seen her for years so it was good to meet again and to be invited to her party which I was determined to attend.

The main room for dancing is ideal: wooden dance floor, capacity for 250 dancers, excellent sound system, air conditioning that works and  free parking nearby for 250 cars!

Admission is £8 which includes a generous buffet and two tickets for the draw.

Philip Frost and Miguel Mayana run a monthly salsa event at The Bedford in Balham which is one of my favourite venues. No more heart attacks!

Going vegetarian or vegan as suggested in the video below is one way of making yourself heart attack proof but there are other solutions such as Natural Low Density Eating which is just as good and includes eating fish & meat which even caveman used to do so it can't really be that bad for you can it.
