WATERFRONT & CHIPS ON WEDNESDAY!

I had to attend a tasting session of 4 different kinds of veggie burgers in Gosport. Having been paid £15 for eating the whole of the one I quite liked and bits of the three I didn't I thought I might as well spend £1.90 on some really tasty chips at Frydays Fish & Chips. This was particular necessary as the chips I ate on Monday night from Queens Parade Fisheries were so dry and wrinkly I'll never go there again!

GREEN BIN WARNING!

I found a red notice on my green bin yesterday - apparently the refuse collectors couldn't take it because there was glass in it. MY LEFT ARM IS GETTING BIGGER!

The Drift Bar in Southsea is the venue for Bailando every Thursday run by DALE Afro Latin Entertainment from 10pm to 3am. It has been good for the first few months of the year because there have been plenty of people attending Skye's earlier bachata lessons upstairs from 8 to 10pm and most stay for an hour or so to practice to bachata music. Around 11pm the salsa music begins.

Enrique Perez & his partner  Rob Carroll run an excellent evening of salsa at Bar So in Bournemouth every Wednesday. 2018-07-08: Bournemouth All Stars Salsa Fiesta Sunday Party Night at Lost Paradise!

Enrique Perez & his partner Rob Carroll ran a weekender from 7-8 July 2018: All Stars Salsa Fiesta, 1 Beach Parties & 2 All Day workshops but I could only make it to the Sunday Party Night at The Lost Paradise Bar from 8:30 to 2am. I wasn't interested in the lessons so arrived at 10pm to see the last half of the excellent rueda lesson being run by Danielle Satsias before the social dancing began.

Every first Friday of the month there is an excellent salsa event at The Venue in Brighton run by Carlton Thomas. The social dancing is from 11pm to 2am which is my interest but the Cubana salsa classes which are very professional start at 9pm. 2018-07-04: Salsa Katanga Wednesdays at Portsmouth Irish Club!

Having been to Bar So in Bournemouth on Wednesdays over the Christmas/New Year period (20Dec, 27Dec, 3Jan, 10Jan)  and enjoyed it so much I now alternate between the Irish Club and Bar So every other week! Tonight it's the Irish Club!

Salsateca London and Ola Latina host an excellent salsa & bachata party night on the Last Friday of every month in the Great Hall in Bromley Civic Centre. It's a 100 miles drive from Gosport for me but my first time of going was good and I will return!
