Enrique Perez & his partner Rob Carroll run an excellent free evening of salsa at La Tasca on Saturdays once a month from 10:30pm until 2am. I missed last month because of my attendance at the Celebration of the 51st Anniversary of Botswana Independence Day! with my daughter Katie but was determined to attend this one which featured many attendees wearing Halloween costumes – mostly the girls with their amazing makeup which did not succeed in making any of them less attractive! 😉

Although the focus of the event is Cuban salsa there are plenty of ladies attending who can dance cross body though most of the men do lead Cuban style and many of the ladies prefer to dance their salsa in the Cuban way! No problem for me as I dance Puerto Rican Salsa Romantica which means I can dance with anybody – even Enrique himself! 😉
