The right front tyre of my car was totally flat when I got back home last night (Wednesday) – a pin prick puncture it turns out today (Thursday). I need two new front tyres & tracking because the other one is nearly on the limit and unevenly worn too. However, the tyres won’t available until tomorrow morning at the local service station I trust. Ah well – looks like it’s a TV night for me! At least the car will be ready for EL GRANDE – Friday 20 October, 4 rooms, 10 DJs, 10 teachers, Classes, Shows tomorrow night!
Philip Wake I thought of driving with the slow puncture – it’s losing around 2lbs an hour – and pumping it up with my electronic pump before driving – but my driving the car while the tyre was flat has ruined the sidewalls which means that it’s no longer safe for driving because the tyre could blow out at any moment! 19 October at 14:54
Philip Wake I turned up at 09:15 today (Friday) to discover that the van delivering my tyres had broken down and they weren’t sure when it would be replaced. There was also a problem with access to the hydraulic ramp because it was still being used for another car. I agreed to come back at 3pm and gave them my phone number to let me know if I could come earlier. 20 October at 13:33
Philip Wake OMG – tyres fitted at 3:30pm but ramp for tracking only now available at 6:15pm – will be on the way to London just in time! Lol 20 October at 18:13
