Salsateca London and Ola Latina run a regular event called El Bembe every 4th Saturday of the month usually at The Bottlescrue but tonight it was held at Draft House Chancery, 1 Plough Place, London, EC4A 1DE. 2018-12-08: El Bembe Christmas Party Special at Pimlico Academy!

Salsateca London and Ola Latina run a regular event called El Bembe every 2nd Saturday of the month at The Bottlescrue. Sometimes there's one on the 4th Saturday too. Tonight was a special Christmas party at Pimlico Academy with salsa dancing in an enormous ballroom with bachata & kizomba in separate smaller areas.

There is single yellow line parking in the street outside at night.

Philip Frost and Miguel Mayana run a monthly salsa event at The Bedford in Balham which is one of my favourite venues. The main room for salsa is ideal: wooden dance floor, capacity for 250 dancers, excellent sound system, air conditioning that used to work and  free parking nearby in Sainsbury for 250 cars! I always look forward to being part of the biggest and best monthly salsa dancing venue in the UK which is El Grande at Scala from 21:30 to 05:00 - 4 rooms for  salsa, cuban, bachata & kizomba - often attended by more than 1200 dancers! Event 2018-04-01: Scalalatina Easter Extravaganza Bank Holiday Allnighter!

The Latin Collective boast that Scalalatina is The UKs Biggest Latin club night with 1200+ people at each event! It's an all night event held on a Sunday at Scala from 6pm to 6am. There are workshops by the most famous teachers in the world until 9pm and then the party night from 9:30 until 6am including three world class performances on the stage in the main room at 11:30 and another three at 00:30. I wouldn't miss going to this party night any more than I would miss going to the monthly El Grande one!
