Salsateca London and Ola Latina run a regular event called El Bembe' on every 2nd & 4th Saturday of each month at The Bottlescrue, 33 Foster Lane, London EC2V 6HD. There is parking in the streets nearby from 7pm onwards. The venue offers plenty of space for dancing in the main salsa room formed by 3 rectangular areas surrounding the dining tables down the middle of the room. The Latin Collective boast that Scalalatina is The UKs Biggest Latin club night with 1200+ people at each event! It's an all night event held on a Sunday at Scala from 1pm to 6am in this case as the climax to the London LatinFest 2018. The Latin Collective are the hosts for the London LatinFest 2018 which runs from Monday 20th September to Sunday 26th. My interest is in the party nights on Saturday and Sunday. I always enjoy the experience of attending Incognito's Putney Salsa Club which is run by the elegant Jeff Tarpinian and has a very friendly atmosphere. The venue has a superb professional dance floor for 200 dancers with an amazing sound system and air conditioning that works. The dance floor is normally used by Dance Lab for professional ballroom events. I planned to go to  S-B-K at Spinnaker Tower 2018 and arrived at 8:50pm to be turned away by a fellow called Mike who runs Salsa Touch I believe - the co-host to Salsa Katanga for the evening. He turned me away because it was a black tie event and my Ghanaian Kente shirt didn't count despite it being worn by royalty in Ghana on special occasions. Rumba Latina‎ are starting up a new monthly venue in Watford at Holywell Community Centre. The first one was on Saturday 22nd July. The venue was excellent and those who attended had a good time but the popular request for local residents is for it to be held on a Friday instead because it suits their family timetables better. Superb professional dance floor for 200 dancers with an amazing sound system and air conditioning that works - normally used by Dance Lab for professional ballroom events.

Every Friday from 7pm to 11:45pm.

Event 2017-06-16: Salsa at El Grande at Scala on the 3rd Friday of the month!

I always look forward to being part of the biggest and best monthly salsa dancing venue in the UK which is El Grande at Scala from 21:30 to 05:00 - 4 rooms for  salsa, cuban, bachata & kizomba - often attended by more than 1200 dancers! Entry is £10.

The name Salsatricity speaks for itself - the atmosphere is always electric at any of the high quality locations they use for their nights full of smiling dancers!
